Who We Are
OA Rainbow is proud to be a source of information for LGBTQ+ members and our allies in Overeaters Anonymous. We endeavor to provide a supportive community to everyone in the fellowship.
OA RAINBOW MISSION
The OA Rainbow Specific Focus Service Body of Overeaters Anonymous is dedicated to fostering a compassionate, inclusive, and supportive environment for LGBTQ+ individuals to find hope, healing, and recovery from compulsive eating and compulsive food behaviours. Our mission is to provide guidance, resources, and community for three key groups:

LGBTQ+ members within Overeaters Anonymous seeking recovery and fellowship.

LGBTQ+ individuals outside of Overeaters Anonymous who may benefit from our program, but who have not yet found their way to our rooms.

Groups and Service Bodies within Overeaters Anonymous, ensuring they are equipped to support LGBTQ+ members and integrate LGBTQ+ focused initiatives into their practices.

We now have a sponsorship list that will serve the LGBTQ+ community within Overeaters Anonymous! To be added to the list as a sponsor, you will need to read the Privacy Policy and complete an enrollment form. If you are interested in finding a sponsor, please email us at sponsor@oarainbow.org and we will contact you directly. Together, we can build a trusted resource that strengthens connection, supports recovery, and honors OA’s commitment to anonymity.
Where can I find an LGBTQ+ Affirming Meeting?
In addition, you can also find up-to-date information
on all OA meetings which are either open-to-all,
or which have a specific-focus:
1. Go to Home - Overeaters Anonymous.
2. Click on “Find a Meeting” button.
3. Under "Meeting types" select “Face-To-Face",
"Online", "Phone”, or "Non-Real Time".
4. Select “Additional Filters”.
5. Under “Specific Focus” select “LGBTQ+”,
"Women", "Men", BIPOC", etc.

OA Rainbow is part of Overeaters Anonymous but does not receive funds from the OA World Service Office. Your contribution funds this website and other necessities, including to defray travel costs for our delegate to attend the World Service Business Conference.
We appreciate the generosity and involvement of our Members and Member Service bodies. Every donation goes towards helping OA Rainbow make a greater, positive impact within Overeaters Anonymous.
